We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children during this critical stage of development.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Design and maintain a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Arrange learning centers to encourage independence, creativity, and hands-on exploration• Create clearly defined areas for small group, large group, dramatic play, art, literacy, and quiet time
- Ensure materials are labeled, accessible, and rotated regularly to support curriculum goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets licensing and health regulations
- Implement visual schedules and organized routines to promote smooth transitions
- Monitor and maintain classroom supplies and learning materialsPlanning and leading engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Creating a classroom environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and safe
- Collaborating with families and fellow staff members to ensure each child’s success
- Observing and documenting developmental milestones
- Upholding MN state childcare licensing standards and center policies
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum AA Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain in 30 days of employment)
- Strong Organizational skills
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, dependable, and caring attitude toward children and team members
